VandenBosch accepts reappointment

Toward the end of their five-year contract period, all UW–Madison deans undergo a review. A committee appointed by Provost Sarah Mangelsdorf reviewed Dean Kate VandenBosch last fall. The review is complete, and VandenBosch has agreed to another five-year term as dean of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.

As reported in last week’s Inside UW, Chancellor Blank and Provost Mangelsdorf expressed their appreciation for those that served on VandenBosch’s review committee.

Three other deans also completed reviews and accepted renewal of their appointments. They are: School of Veterinary Medicine Dean Mark Markel, College of Engineering Dean Ian Robertson and College of Letters and Science Dean Karl Scholz.
