CALS undergrads selected for dairy executive education conference

Three CALS undergrads — Jordan Matthews of Watertown, Matthew Repinski of Amherst, and Jonathan Wiese of Greenleaf — were among 100 young dairy industry leaders selected to participate in the 2008 Managers Academy in Phoenix, Ariz. This specialty executive education conference was created to take dairy leaders to the next level in professional development and business success. Participants received executive education trainings from internationally-recognized experts and had a full day of tours of local agribusiness enterprises. The three UW-Madison attendees were joined by dairy producers and dairy industry professionals from 18 states and four countries.

“PDPW is pleased to offer this exclusive conference,” said Shelly Mayer, PDPW Executive Director, “We recognize Jordan, Matthew, Jonathan and all of the Managers Academy graduates for investing in themselves and taking this opportunity to learn and grow. The dairy industry is a dynamic professional and the Managers Academy is where dairy managers and other industry leaders can sharpen their skills and network.”
