Amy Charkowski, professor of plant pathology, was recently named the Friday Chair for Vegetable Production Research. The chair was established by Mr. Fritz Friday, owner and CEO of the Friday Canning Corporation in New Richmond, Wisconsin. It is awarded to a CALS faculty member who demonstrates outstanding research and service in the area of vegetable production.
