Finalists announced, presentations scheduled for CALS Associate Dean for Research position

The search committee for the associate dean for research position has announced the following two finalists. The CALS community is invited to attend the upcoming public presentations of the candidates, which will be held in Room 1520 in the Microbial Sciences Building (enter main doors from Linden Drive and turn right). There will be time for those attending to ask questions of the candidates. 

  • Dr. Jeri Barak, professor and associate director of WAES, Department of Plant Pathology — Thursday, January 12, 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.
  • Dr. Troy Runge, professor and chair, Department of Biological Systems Engineering — Friday, January 13, 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.

The finalists have been asked to speak about their Vision of opportunities ahead for the CALS Associate Dean for Research.

Dean Glenda Gillaspy and the search committee will solicit feedback from the CALS community through an online survey that will be provided following the presentations.
