CALS Wellness Committee tip: Acronym to help you remember self-care activities
We are in unique times. There is a lot going on in our world right now. Recently, someone described it in a way that really resonated: “We are all in the same storm, but we are each in a different boat.” We are each weathering the storm differently. Self-care is extremely important during our current storm of 2020.
Below is a self-care acronym that was shared by the School of Medicine and Public Health during a virtual session titled, “COVID-19 Q&A: A Medical, Environmental, Community Focused, Self-Care Discussion,” which was held during CommUNITY Well-Being Month.
Let it serve as a remember to implement self-care in some way, shape, or form as we finish out 2020. Please feel free to print and post in a prominent place!
Sharing – Reinforces that we are not alone and reminds us of our interconnectedness.

Action – We can all do something. How can I help?
Recharge – What do I need? (fresh air/exercise/sleep)
