CALS Academic Planning Council seeks new members, nominations due May 24

Nominations are underway for membership on CALS Academic Planning Council for terms running from 2019-2022. APC is the primary shared governance body in the college and advises the dean on strategic planning, resource allocation, academic program proposals, and more.

Four divisional faculty seats are open for nomination: one each from Biological Systems Engineering (Division 1), Forest and Wildlife Ecology (Division 2), Agricultural and Applied Economics (Division 3), and Biochemistry (Division 5).  If you would like to nominate a faculty member from one of these departments, please contact the corresponding department chair.

There is also a seat open for one CALS Extension faculty.  If you would like to nominate a CALS Extension faculty member for this seat, please submit a nomination form. Please confirm the willingness of nominees to serve in the position and their ability to attend APC meetings before making the nomination.

The next open academic staff seat will occur in 2020.

The nomination deadline is May 24, 2019.  Elections will take place during the first two weeks in June.
