When a Madison elementary school student posed the question “How do plants grow if there’s no sunlight?,” the Blue Sky Science team turned to CALS forest & wildlife ecology’s Andrew Jablonski for the answer. Watch Jablonski’s response in the video below or on the Blue Sky Science website.

Blue Sky Science is a collaboration of the Wisconsin State Journal and the Morgridge Institute for Research. The questions are posed by visitors to the Discovery Building. The Blue Sky Science team then sets out to find an expert to answer the questions.
