The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Student Association recently hosted a workshop for student leaders within the CALS community. The retreat was led by CALS faculty members Megan O’Rourke and Lauren Foley, who helped students learn how to better sell their strengths to both graduate school admissions committees and employers. The day started with a strength-finding workshop led by Lauren in which students learned how to articulate their skills, interests and abilities. Megan then helped students determine how to translate these newfound skills and strengths so that they could apply them in future professional situations. The event was well attended by students, and attendees left the retreat inspired with tools and strategies to implement in the pursuit of their professional goals and dreams. This entry was posted in Beyond classroom experiences, Happenings by .
