Jack Berbee, professor emeritus of plant pathology, dies at 91

5855855789e43.imageJohn (Jack) G. Berbee, professor emeritus in the Department of Plant Pathology, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at the age of 91.

Berbee joined the plant pathology department in 1957, where he worked on diseases of forest trees until his retirement in 1989. His wife Flora, who survives him, worked as a researcher in the plant pathology department for many years.
