The three organizations in the Discovery Building – The Morgridge Institute for Research, the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation – are launching a new lecture series on Tuesday, Oct. 6, called Crossroads of Ideas. The first speaker is UW-Madison political scientist Kathy Cramer, who will discuss her compelling new book “The Politics of Resentment,” focusing on rural acrimony toward urban Wisconsin.
This free public series, held at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of most months, addresses challenging and engaging topics such as politics, policy issues, ethics, public perceptions, law and science and society. Many of the talks will feature UW-Madison experts.
