David Bart receives Innovative Teaching Award from APLU

salmon-219x300David Bart, assistant professor of landscape architecture, has been selected to receive an APS Innovative Teaching Award from the Association for Public Land-grant Universities (APLU).

APLU’s Board on Agriculture Assembly’s Academic Programs Section bestows Innovative Teaching Awards to faculty who wish to expand their scholarship of teaching and learning by providing innovative teaching and learning experiences for students in the food, agricultural, and natural resources disciplines.

Bart’s research program focuses on understanding human causation of environmental change and the applications of this knowledge to the fields of conservation and restoration ecology, with a particular emphasis on plant invasions and changes in wetland-plant diversity.
