Join CALS at Wisconsin Farm Technology Days in Portage County August 12-14!
CALS will be in the alumni tent located just off the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and 6th Street in the Farm Tech Days’ Tent City. Along with UW-River Falls, UW-Platteville and Wisconsin Technical Colleges, CALS will be hosting a reception each day at 1:00 p.m. in the alumni tent.
Be sure to also mark your calendar for the annual WALSAA picnic on Wednesday, August 13 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. The picnic will be at the UW-Madison Hancock Agricultural Research Station (N3909 County Rd V Hancock, WI). This event is a great opportunity to meet Dean Kate VandenBosch, tour the station and try Happy Cranniversary ice cream, CALS’ signature 125th anniversary flavor. The costs is $15 and includes a picnic dinner of brats, burgers, salads, and more, beverages and tours of the station. No reservations needed – just pay at the door.
If you are not able to attend a reception or the picnic, stop by the alumni tent for some free CALS stuff (while supplies last), networking with fellow alumni and the chance to catch up on the college’s activities.
