CALS student crosses Europe by bike to promote sustainable ag

You may have heard the phrase “going the extra mile,” well how about 5,000? This past summer Tom Boyden, a CALS horticulture student involved in F.H. King Students for Sustainable Agriculture and Slow Food UW-Madison, traveled 5,000 miles across Europe by bicycle to raise awareness about soil conservation and sustainable agriculture through guerrilla gardening at famous sites.

Boyden produced this stunning video of his adventures, which spanned 9 countries over 3 months.
