This weekend: UW clubs sell Xmas trees, wreaths and plants in the Stock Pavilion

2012_tree_saleThis is the weekend for the annual greening and redding of the UW Stock Pavilion, as student clubs join forces to sell Christmas trees, wreaths and holiday plants. The UW Forestry Club’s tree sale, now entering its 5th decade, will take place in the arena itself with convenient drive-in, drive-out access. Meanwhile the UW Horticulture Society will be selling poinsettias, Christmas Cacti and (new this year) tabletop holiday pines in the classroom just inside the building’s main entrance.

Hours for both events are 8 a.m.–8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m.–3 p.m. on Sunday. But a word to the wise customer: The earlier the better for this popular event.
