CALS mentors are needed to provide research opportunities this summer to students in the rising senior level of the PEOPLE Program, UW-Madison’s most comprehensive pre-college program designed to attract underrepresented student populations. The students, all high school seniors-to-be, come from primarily urban areas and tribal nations in Wisconsin and will spend six weeks on campus this summer having an immersive pre-college enrichment experience. Students interested in CALS will be given lab or field placements in CALS and will learn about various research fields and careers in agriculture and related sciences.
If you are interested, or have further questions, please contact Assistant Dean Tom Browne in CALS at email@example.com.
