If you’d like an update on the status of the state’s farm sector as it heads into the new year, register now for the 2013 Wisconsin Agricultural Economic Outlook Forum. Speakers at the Jan. 23 event will discuss the past year, current situation and outlook for Wisconsin’s major farm commodities, including dairy, corn and soybeans, meat and livestock, and fruit and vegetables. Needless to say, there will be considerable discussion on the impact of last year’s extreme heat and drought and what that means for the year ahead.
The 2013 edition of the annual Status of Wisconsin Agriculture will be released on that day and will be available at the forum.
