National Dairy Leadership Scholarship program for grad students

The National Milk Producers Federation invites applications for its 2011 National Dairy Leadership Scholarship program

Applicants must complete the scholarship application form which is available for download by visiting or contacting NMPF. The application will include a brief research proposal, a description of how the research will benefit dairy cooperatives and the industry, a curriculum vitae and two letters of recommendation.

Applications must be received by April 21, 2011.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program and be actively pursuing dairy‐related research of immediate interest to NMPF member cooperatives and the US dairy industry. Some general research areas include, but are not limited to:

Agriculture Communications

  • Animal Health
  • Animal and/or Human Nutrition
  • Bovine Genetics
  • Dairy Products Processing
  • Dairy Science
  • Economics
  • Environmental Science
  • Food Science
  • Food Safety
  • Herd Management
  • Marketing and Price Analysis

Applicants do not need to be members of NMPF to qualify.
