Nearly 175 people were in the room and dozens more were tuned in online CALS and UW-Extension economists and commodity specialists presented their annual Wisconsin Agricultural Economic Outlook Forum on Weds. Jan. 19. The presentation was held in the Pyle Center and webcast to 60 locations. Many county UW-Extension agents hosted sessions for farmers in their area. The event also served as the official release of the 2011 Status of Wisconsin Agriculture report. That publication is available for download here and summed up in this CALS press release. Media accounts of the outlook forum and the ag status report were published locally (here and here), in the state’s ag media, and nationally.
