The UW Horticulture Society will be holding a Poinsettia Sale in conjunction with the UW Forestry Club’s Annual Christmas Tree Sale. The combined enterprise takes place Dec. 4–6 in the UW Stock Pavilion, 1675 Linden Dr.
The horticulture students will also be pre-selling their florist-quality poinsettias, which come with decorative gold foiling around the pot. Two types will be available:
- 4 1/2″ — red or Jingle Bell (red with white speckles, pictured above) — $8. Perfect for a desk or small table.
- 6 1/2″ — red , Jingle Bell, or burgundy — $17. Perfect as a table centerpiece or in an entryway.
Pre-order by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or sign up in the horticulture department office beginning Friday, November 20th. Include your name and a phone number. Pay by cash or check 1made out to UW Horticulture Society. Plants will be available for pick up starting December 1st in the D.C. Smith Greenhouse.
