An information sheet on tax assistance for nonresident aliens (NRA) is now available on the UW Business Services web page (click on Tax Preparation Assistance Options for Nonresident Aliens) as well as the Seminars and Workshops site.

Note that this year the Wisconsin Dept. of Revenue (DOR) will NOT provide assistance at their VITA site in the Villager Mall on Park St. Instead, nonresident aliens will need to go to the DOR office at 2135 Rimrock Rd. for personal assistance. An email with this information was sent to each NRA currently on the payroll on Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Please note that there is NO ASSISTANCE FOR TAX RETURN FILING available at the International Tax Walk-In Assistance Sessions held at our 21 N. Park St. office. Information about these sessions can be accessed on the web at the Seminars and Workshops site (click on Information and Schedule for Walk-in Assistance). These sessions are for completing the UW1123, W-4 and applicable treaty forms.
