As the harvest season winds down and the new school year progresses, it’s an appropriate time to recognize the support the College receives from the entire CALS community — current and past students, friends, and of course the hundreds of dedicated faculty and staff members who contribute daily to our success. Those sentiments are expressed in a card that Dean Jahn is sending out this month. The card features a photo by Wolfgang Hoffmann of an orchard in Crawford County, a quote by 19th century English poet William Blake, and the message “Giving thanks is always in season. Thank you for being part of our CALS community.”
