IES (Institute of Education Sciences) announces Research Funding Opportunity Webinars: The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) will host a series of webinars related to research funding opportunities at the National Center for Special Education Research (NCSER) and the National Center for Education Research (NCER). The four sessions include:
- Overview of the evaluation of state and local education programs and policies program
- Overview of IES education research training grants
- Grant writing workshop for development projects (goal 2)
- Grant writing workshop for young investigators

Opportunity for in-person effort training. In-person effort training will be held by RSP on Monday, August 4th at the Genetics/Biotechnology Center. Attending the session will satisfy the UW requirement for effort certifiers. This is the last chance for an in-person training session before the consequences go into effect for people who have not completed all their requirements.
