Save energy: Give your computer a rest

Did you know that there are over 27,000 departmentally owned PCs on campus, that one out of five students report owning both a desktop and a laptop computer, and that computers account for over $2 million annually in energy costs. Here’s what you can do to help. Turn off your computer when not in use. Enable your power-save (sleep) mode and remember that screen savers do not save energy.
