CALS faculty and staff are encouraged to attend the upcoming Bioenergy Collaborative Gathering highlighting UW System efforts in bioenergy, including the work of the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC). The event, designed for all interested UW System faculty and industry researchers, will take place at UW-Stevens Point on Tuesday, January 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The gathering will be an occasion for faculty and the public to get to know more about the GLBRC initiative, network with researchers from System campuses and industry, and discuss possible collaborations. GLBRC members will speak about the goals, resources and potential of the GLBRC, and UW-System campus representatives will speak about their current bioenergy-related projects. UW-Stevens Point officials will also discuss plans for the Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technologies. The gathering will offer ample opportunity to network.
