The 2007 Partners in Giving Campaign is over and a hearty congratulations to all in CALS. Comparing 2007 with 2006, we had 344 participants and $80,598 in 2007 and 241 participants and $71,162 in 2006. This was an outstanding improvement over a year ago. We want to thank all of the participants, and especially the unit coordinators.
It is worth mentioning that the following units had more than a 100 percent increase in participation over the previous year:
Ag Research Stations; Agronomy; Biochemistry; Biological Systems Engineering; Food Microbiology and Toxicology; LICGF; Landscape Architecture; Life Science Communications; Nutritional Sciences; Rural Sociology; Soil Science; Undergraduate Programs and Services; and, URPL.
The college awards were won by the following units: Undergraduate Programs and Services for the highest participation; URPL for the largest percent increase over 2005; and Biochemistry for the largest number of participants over 2005.
Again, on behalf of the campaign and the University Partner’s in Giving Committee, THANK YOU!
