Join the UW Teaching Academy for their Fall Retreat on Friday, October 18 from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. They will explore the topic “Neurodivergence on Our Campus.” Teaching Academy Retreats are open to all.

This will be a hybrid event featuring an in-person and online experience. Join them in the DeLuca Forum (in the Discovery Building) or on Zoom.

Invited guest speakers will discuss what Neurodivergence is and reflect on the ways in which it is experienced and how Neurodivergent individuals can be supported and respected in our campus environment, including for instructors, staff, and students. There will be opportunities for collegial discussion and Q&A. Light breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m. Zoom doors open at 8:45 a.m.
