CALS faculty and academic staff:

Elections are underway for divisional faculty and academic staff seats on the CALS Academic Planning Council for terms running from fall 2023 through spring 2026. APC is the primary shared governance body in the college and advises the Dean on strategic planning, resource allocation, academic program proposals, and more. Here is more information about the mission and membership of CALS APC.

Four divisional faculty seats are open for election, one each from Biological Systems Engineering (Division 1), Agricultural and Applied Economics (Division 3), Plant and Agroecosystem Sciences (Division 4) and Biochemistry (Division 5). For divisional seats, there is one candidate per seat in alignment with rotational representation among departments. 

One seat is open for a CALS academic staff member. Two candidates are running for this seat after an open nomination process.
