UHS Mental Health Services offers updates and events for students

Service Updates

  • Group Counseling enrollment is open now. View the full list of groups and schedule a pre-group orientation on MyUHS or by calling 608-265-5600 (option 2).
  • Wellness Workshops are in session with topics ranging from ADHD, mindfulness, depression, anxiety and more. Sign up online.
  • Let’s Talk will continue to be offered every weekday.
    • Students can drop-into College Library, Room 2191D Monday-Thursday from 2:30–4:30 p.m. and Friday from 1:30–3:30 p.m.
    • Partnership and identity specific sessions are also available throughout the week. View the full schedule.

Upcoming Events

  • Art Programming: UHS offers several art-based events for students to de-stress, be in community and learn more about their services. All events feature an art activity. View the schedule and sign-up online.
  • Thrive Workshops: Build skills and gain tools to support student academics, relationships and overall wellbeing. Workshop topics change and include procrastination, test anxiety, mindfulness and more. New this year, all in-person workshops will have a guided art activity and snacks. Sign-up online.
  • Thrive Outside Challenge: 10 challenges. Complete 6. Earn a picnic blanket prize. Challenges consist of nature photography, outdoor yoga, invasive species removal, mindfulness walks and more. View the schedule and sign-up online.
