Welcome to 2026 Benefits Open Enrollment. Benefits-eligible employees can enroll in coverage or make changes to most benefits for the upcoming calendar year during October 5–30, 2026. Benefits changes made during Open Enrollment are effective Jan. 1, 2027.

The Employee Benefits and Resource Fair will be held on Oct. 8, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., at Union South, Varsity Hall. Learn more about your benefits, discover campus resources that are available and receive enrollment assistance at the Open Benefits Lab. A full schedule is available on the fair website. All UW-Madison employees are welcome to attend the Employee Benefits and Resource Fair. Pre-registration is not required, and no leave needs to be taken to attend. Please notify your supervisor if you wish to attend during your regular working hours.

To log in to My Benefits, employees must use the personal email address they used to set up their MyWisconsin ID account, as well as their password. Employees may be asked to choose a new MyWisconsin ID password because their previous password has expired or will expire soon.
