Having plants in the workplace has proven to be beneficial. A study published by the American Society for Horticultural Science in 2020 indicated that having opportunities to gaze intentionally at nearby plants in the work environment can reduce the psychological and physiological stress of office workers. The results of the study suggest that three-min “nature breaks” could improve the mental health of workers. Adding a plant to your workspace can provide you with the opportunity to take that break.
