Share your research at Badgers on Tap

Badger Talks, the speaker’s bureau for campus, has a new opportunity for departments and programs, including faculty, staff, graduate students and postdocs, to share their work and research around the state. Badgers on Tap will pair UW experts with pre-approved pubs and eateries around Wisconsin to cover a broad range of topics from every degree field: STEM to history, the arts to business.

Badgers on Tap events typically consist of a themed topic or project presented in the form of  two or three flash talks interspersed with trivia, bingo and other activities. Badger Talks provides templates and swag for prizes, or presenters can develop their own. Typically,  someone from the group or a local Extension contact may help emcee the event, introduce the speakers and run games.

Interested in participating? Individuals, units and departments can complete the form here to sign up.

The program will launch during the statewide 2024 Wisconsin Science Festival (WSF), October 14-20, after which the program will continue as an ongoing opportunity for all UW departments. See upcoming scheduled events here.
