Project led by Eric Booth receives 2024 Kickapoo Award
CALS has selected the 2024 Kickapoo Award recipient. The awarded project is Assessing the potential of forested hillslopes to enhance stormwater infiltration and reduce flooding, Eric Booth, Department of Plant and Agroecosystem Sciences.
The Kickapoo Valley Reforestation Fund was established through a generous bequest to the University of Wisconsin Foundation by Ralph Nuzum, a long-time businessman and resident of the Kickapoo Valley. Proposals identify a significant assessment, action or analysis which, upon completion, could reasonably be expected to enhance the overall quality of life in the Kickapoo Valley.
