The Wisconsin Idea Conference Planning Committee is seeking proposals for breakout sessions for the second annual Wisconsin Idea Conference on April 9 as part of the Morgridge Center for Public Service’s Wisconsin Idea Week. The theme for the 2024 Conference will be “Community University Partnerships for Stronger Communities.”
Ccampus (faculty, staff, and students) and community (nonprofit staff, research partners, local government, etc) colleagues are invited to submit proposals for 35- or 75-minute interactive and thoughtful sessions related to community university engagement and partnership. Lighting Talk submissions will also be accepted.
Call for Session Proposals
Campus and community partners are encouraged to submit proposals to present at the sessions. All proposals are due by Jan. 15.
Call for Events
In order to expand engagement opportunities connected to the conference theme, campus and community collaborators are invited to create or share about relevant events related to the conference theme that take place during Wisconsin Idea Week, April 8-16. All event submissions will be reviewed by the selection committee before being added to the event website and promotional materials. All submissions are due by Feb. 16.
