National Transfer Student Week is Oct. 16 – 20. CALS is celebrating transfer students by featuring students on CALS social media throughout the week and with free coffee, tea and muffins in 116 Ag Hall on Oct. 17, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Consider celebrating the transfer students in your department. Academic advisors have been given a full list of their transfer students to make communicating to that group as easy as possible. 

The UW-Madison Transfer Transition Program is also hosting events throughout the week and have curated some resources to help units celebrate their transfer students. A few ways to get involved include:

• Update your digital channels with graphics in the NTSW 2023 Toolkit.
• Connect transfer students in your network to the Transfer Transition Program and NTSW events.
• Submit a “Transfer Act of Kindness” that recognizes the hard work of a transfer student on campus.
