Wisconsin Section of Institute for Food Technologists to celebrate student scholarship winners on March 30

Members of the CALS Community are invited to the Wisconsin Section of the Institute for Food Technologists (WIFT) student scholarship award celebration, set for on 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 30 at the Memorial Union (check TITU). This event is FREE FOR STUDENTS!

At the event, WIFT will be awarding student scholarships to deserving undergraduate and graduate students in food science, food technology, food engineering and other related fields.

The night begins with a cash bar and social hour. Dinner will be served and coffee service will be provided.

The keynote speaker is Maya Warren, a UW–Madison and “The Amazing Race” TV show alumna, who will give her insight into how her food science degree helped shape her career. (For more information about Warren, visit https://drmayawarren.com/).

The event will finish with the awarding of the scholarships, which were made possible by the generosity of all who gave during WIFT’s annual golf outing.
