Virtual training: COVID-Cancelled Airfare and Booking New Air Travel Using the UATP Card
Business Services is offering virtual training regarding UATP (Universal Air Travel Plan): COVID-Cancelled Airfare and Booking New Air Travel Using the UATP Card.

This virtual training discusses the University’s process for handling the 4,600 cancelled flights on file from 2020. It will include:
- Accounting for the receipt of the UATP (Universal Air Travel Plan) cards and other relief from the major airlines
- What to do if you had a flight cancelled in 2020
- How to book new flights using the UATP cards
- How to submit and review expense reports for new flights
- Accounting for new bookings
This training is recommended for the following:
- e-Reimbursement Approvers, Auditors, and Alternates
- Travel arrangers and travelers who had cancelled flights from 2020 or will be booking new flights in 2021 and beyond
- PI’s or other individuals responsible for monitoring funding strings that have seen accounting entries from this process
