New drop-in hours for CALS instructors to discuss online learning ideas, issues

The CALS Continuity of Instruction team is now hosting drop-in hours for CALS instructors to discuss their online learning ideas and issues.

Drop-in hours are:

  • Mondays 11:00-1:00
  • Tuesdays 11:00-1:00
  • Fridays 11:00-1:00

Instructors are utilizing this opportunity to discuss their pedagogical ideas for online learning and to get technical support. Common questions include:

  • All things Canvas
    • Adding content (readings, videos, announcements to students, assignments, groups)
  • All things technology
    • How to use campus tools: BBCollaborate Ultra, Kaltura Media Space, Honorlock proctoring tool and more
  • All things pedagogy
    • Best practices for discussions, online assessments, rethinking your in-person activities for online, lecture recording
