Grant awarded: NIH funds R01 grant to study RNA binding protein’s role in heart failure

Wei Guo (Animal & Dairy Sciences) was awarded an R01 grant through the National Heart, Blood, and Lung Institute. The award will provide a total of $1.5M over four years. This work is aimed at elucidating the functional significance and the molecular mechanisms by which RNA binding protein 20 (RBM20) regulates posttranscriptional process in the pathogenesis of heart failure.
