National Farm Safety and Health Week 2020

The National Education Center for Agricultural Safety (NECAS) celebrates National Farm Safety and Health Week (NFSHW) each year during the 3rd week of September. The celebration of NFSHW has been held each year since 1944. In 2020, NFSHW will be held from Sept. 20-26 with the theme “Every Farmer Counts.” During NFSHW, NECAS highlights a different safety topic each day of the week. To promote NFSHW and raise awareness to each safety topic, NECAS holds free webinars throughout the week. The webinars can be found at the NECAS National Farm Safety and Health Week webpage. Help celebrate NFSHW by attending any of the free webinars and spreading the word. The daily topics of focus throughout National Farm Safety and Health Week include:

  • Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 – Tractor Safety & Rural Roadway Safety
  • Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020 – Overall Farmer Health
  • Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020 – Safety & Health for Youth in Agriculture
  • Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020 – Emergency Preparedness in Agriculture
  • Friday, Sept. 25, 2020 – Safety & Health for Women in Agriculture
