It’s important that we all do our part to support the health and safety of our campus community — and the community more broadly — as we wait for a vaccine that can help bring an end to the coronavirus pandemic. To support that goal, the college will be soliciting and highlighting images of CALS community members engaged in good public health behaviors, such as wearing face masks and doing proper physical distancing.

We are asking CALS personnel to please contribute to this effort — which is part of a broader campus-wide #MaskUpUW campaign — by sending your photos to Or if you’d rather share via Twitter, please mention @UWMadisonCALS so we are sure to see your tweet. Submissions will be considered for sharing via the eCALS newsletter and through CALS social media accounts. We appreciate your participation and look forward to seeing your #MaskUpUW photos!

Many thanks to biochemistry’s Robin Davies and Liz Wood for helping us kick-start this effort by providing today’s featured photo.
