The Bascom-Lathrop utility project work area is expanding on January 6, 2020 to take up part of the eastbound lane of Observatory Drive near Bascom Hill. There will be no eastbound through-traffic available on Observatory Drive between Charter Street and Park Street. Westbound travel will continue as usual.

• Lot 11 will be accessible from Charter Street, but eastbound travel is not allowed past the lot.
• Lots 9 and 10 will only be accessible from Park Street.
• The only bus route to detour for this work is eastbound nighttime Route 81; Route 81 resumes for the spring semester on Sunday, Jan. 19.

Reminder: Lathrop Drive remains bisected for this utility work, as well. Lot 5 traffic must enter/exit onto Park Street and Lot 115 traffic must enter/exit onto Charter Street.

This closure is expected to last until March 2020. Please note project dates are subject to change due to weather or other factors.
