CALS Wellness Committee tip: Wellness activities you can do with the arrival of winter

As 2019 comes to a close and we gear up for 2020, your CALS Wellness Committee thought it would be a good idea to share some activities you could partake in now that winter is here. We want to highlight a few campus resources.

Want to use your creative side? Wheelhouse Studios in the lower level of the Memorial Union is a great outlet for this. Their regular hours are 12:00 – 10:00 p.m., 7 days a week. Note: The studio will have limited hours during winter break. Check the Memorial Union’s hours for details: https://union.wisc.edu/visit/hours/. The studio can be reached by phone at (608) 262-3156. Or do you prefer the outdoors? If so, the UW Arboretum is a great opportunity to be outside and get some exercise. Their website is https://arboretum.wisc.edu/ and their events are listed here: https://arboretum.wisc.edu/visit/events/. There are some upcoming daytime and nighttime walks on the schedule.
