Share your science at the annual UW-Madison Science Expeditions outreach event
UW–Madison researchers/outreachers are invited to participate in the 18th Annual UW–Madison Science Expeditions on April 3-5, 2020.
UW Science Expeditions is our annual campus-wide science open house. It’s an opportunity for all of us to welcome everyone to their public, land-grant research & extension university, and it’s a splendid chance to share your research and outreach with visitors of all ages.
As a campus-wide open house, UW Science Expeditions features three types of programs:
- Exploration Stations: hands-on exhibits where you share insights into your research;
- Science Spectaculars: presentations that engage a larger audience, usually in an auditorium;
- Destinations for Exploration: tours or open houses of venues across campus.
To sign up to lead an Exploration Station, a Science Spectacular, or a Destination for Exploration, please register at: https://forms.gle/GgrDDm316uSU4xn27
We’re also delighted to announce that UW Science Expeditions and UW–Madison Engineering EXPO Community Day will both be welcoming visitors on Saturday, April 4!
If you have questions or need additional information, please contact Tom Zinnen (zinnen@biotech.wisc.edu; 608-265-2420) or Ana Garic (ana.garic@wisc.edu; 608-265-1861).
Please help us spread the word: If you know others on campus who may be interested in sharing their research or outreach at UW Science Expeditions, please forward this invitation to them.
Thank you for considering this invitation to participate in the 2020 UW–Madison Science Expeditions!
