UW-Madison Postdoctoral Research Symposium – Sept. 19
Members of the CALS community are invited to attend the 4th annual UW–Madison Postdoctoral Research Symposium. The event is set for Tuesday, Sept. 19, 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the Genetics-Biotechnology Center.
Held during National Postdoc Appreciation Week, this year the symposium will include:
- A panel discussion on non-academic career paths for postdocs
- Keynote address by Dr. Angela Byars-Winston, professor in the Department of Medicine, entitled “Enhancing Career Development for Post-doc Scholars”
- 5-minute Blitz Talk Competition with postdocs vying for travel awards
- Lunch and reception
