New campus resources have just been released in support of the Employee Engagement, Inclusion and Diversity (EID) initiative from the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration. The goals of the initiative are to recruit and retain talented and diverse employees and to create welcoming and inclusive work environments. With input from campus stakeholders, five EID principles have been defined to provide a shared vision and mutual expectations. A new EID website provides details about the initiative and resources to help enhance EID practices in the workplace. Some sections of the website will be made available in multiple languages in the coming months. Eleven units across campus currently participate in the EID initiative.
