Lunchtime Wellness Series begins May 24 at Allen Centennial Garden
Allen Centennial Garden is committed to reconnecting Madison residents and the UW community with nature. This summer, experience a holistic wellness program that seeks to improve mental health through lunchtime offerings at the Garden. Bring your lunch and enjoy different themes that will change weekly and include topics such as yoga, mindfulness and meditation, healthy eating and art, all with a horticultural twist.
*All sessions are free and in drop-in fashion. While supplies last.

May 24- Nature Bookmarks
“Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.” – Joseph Addison. Create one of a kind pressed bookmarks using greenery and fresh flowers from the Garden.
May 31- Lip Balm
Keep your lips soft this summer and make your own lip balm with wax harvested from ACGs hives.
June 7- Loving Kindness Compassion Meditation with Bob McGrath*
Join in this meditation practice to develop compassion and cultivate love.
June 14- Live Music

*Meditation starts promptly at 12 p.m. and lasts approximately 50-60 minutes. Each meditation starts with a short talk about living with vitality and then a moving meditation to release tension and increase focus. Please arrive early to secure a spot.
