To better assist CALS departments, the Office of External Relations has updated the communications resources it maintains online.
The communications resources page provides links to useful tools and materials. This includes campus editorial and brand style guides, photo galleries, photography policies, printing and mailing services, fonts, letterhead, envelopes, a CALS PowerPoint template and guidelines for event planning and fundraising.
The CALS Logos page, which offers digital and print versions of the most current CALS logo as well as logos for the college’s departments, majors, centers, programs and administrative units, has also been updated. Users will also find a link for submitting logo design requests to University Marketing.
In addition, a new graphic design support request form is now available for departments and programs looking for design assistance with print and digital materials related to their strategic communications. The short, online questionnaire is designed to help the publications team better understand project goals and timelines and keep track of requests. The publications team is small and has limited resources but will do its best to fit requests into its production schedule. Please note that projects will be addressed on a first-come, first-served basis and that January, May, and September are busy months for production.
If you have questions about accessing or using any of these resources, please contact Nik Hawkins, publications manager and Grow editor, at (608) 890-3912 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or Danielle Lamberson Philipp, graphic designer, at (608) 262-1988 or email@example.com.This entry was posted in Highlights by Ben.
