Time-sensitive deadlines approaching for sexual harassment training and performance evaluations

This is a reminder that two deadlines are quickly approaching for time-sensitive training and performance evaluations that can potentially affect employee pay plans:

Preventing Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence at UW–Madison training must be completed by March 9, 2018:

All UW–Madison faculty, academic staff, university staff, limited staff, research associates and research interns, including temporary employees must complete the Preventing Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence at UW–Madison training. Do not delay – if you are eligible for the Pay Plan, you will be deemed ineligible if you have not fully completed this training by March 9, 2018.

Performance evaluations must be completed by March 16, 2018:

Supervisors must be current with annual performance reviews (within the last 12 months) for all employees they supervise. Reviews must be on file in CALS Human Resources no later than March 16, 2018. Annual employee performance reviews must be on file in CALS Human Resources meeting the campus performance management policy, now adhering to the mid-March deadline due to Pay Plan timelines.  Employees must be meeting performance expectations – employees who do not meet performance expectations, are NOT eligible.
