The 8th annual Cool Science Image Contest is looking for the best science images and short videos from UW–Madison faculty, staff and students.
Anything produced in the course of research work or study by members of the university community is eligible for submission. More than 130 images and videos – depicting animals, insects, plants, cells, stars, weather and nanoscale compounds – were entered in last year’s contest. Entries will be accepted through March 9.
Submit up to three images and videos here: go.wisc.edu/csic18
Winners, chosen by judges with experience in scientific imagery and visual art, will be announced in April. Each winning entry receives a $100 Downtown Madison gift card and a poster-size print of the submission. Winners are displayed in an exhibit at the McPherson Eye Research Institute, and other venues. All qualified entries will be displayed in a slide show at the 2018 Wisconsin Science Festival. This entry was posted in Events by Ben. Bookmark the permalink.
