The CALS Study Abroad office has been busy this fall semester making sure CALS students know about the many study abroad programs that are available to them. On Tuesday, Oct. 3 the CALS study abroad team held their annual Grow Global event in 116 Ag Hall. This event hosted prospective CALS study abroad students to learn more information about the many different programs offered, along with the first steps to studying abroad.
CALS peer advisors held advising sessions for curious CALS students on topics like narrowing down each country to pick a program that best suits them, along with the types of scholarships and financial aid available to make funding study abroad programs more affordable. These advising sessions also included tutorials about how to navigate the study abroad website so that students can navigate helpful resources and information on CALS programs.
CALS students received not just information about CALS study abroad, but left with free succulents to spark their interest to “grow global.”
